Yes!! We spoke with Brian Wilson

Greetings all!!
Sunday night at The Flatiron, in Greensboro N.C.
It was by all accounts, an incredibly fab night for all. The multi-venue benefit for victems of Hurricane Katrina, has raised $10,000 so far,(with more coming in daily!) wow!! People really can be quite generous when the need arises, and in the process, I think we all realize now that our government cannot be counted upon in times of crisis and disaster.....we have to learn how to fend for ourselves. We have to learn how to take care of each other. Case in point, most of you already know what Brian Wilson (formerly of The Beach Boys) has done with his challenge for everyone to donate money, and he in return would match all donations. For donations of $100 or more, you could receive a personal phone call from Mr. Wilson himself.
My lovely wife and musical partner decided it was such a great cause, that even though he'd probably NEVER be able to make all those calls, we'd do it anyway.....we knew his heart was in the right place, so what the heck.
This past Saturday, at approximately 2:51 pm, the phone rang.....my heart stopped for a second when I heard "Lee and Susan Terry? This is Brian Wilson......"wow!!! Anyway, he chatted with us for a few brief moments, asked us a few questions, and was just perfectly charming. Never seemed in a hurry to get off the phone, very genuinely thanking us for the donation.....I asked him to PLEASE consider booking a tour date in N.C. (he chuckled and said he was sure we'd get to see him soon!) knowing how many calls he'd be making, we respectfully (if not reluctantly) let him go. Wow!!! one of the highlights of my life (second only to marrying my beautiful Susan)
and we both got the feeling from how he sounded that Brian was equally uplifted from talking to so many fans that genuinely love him. He is something special, and it was great to get in on the "good vibrations"!!! plus help our fellow earthlings! Much love to Brian and Melinda Wilson.
I didnt know how it could ever get any better than that, until The Skellingtons tore up the stage on the following Sunday night!! Great crowd! dancing, much merriment and for a great cause to boot!! Life is sweet, and I'm so lucky to get to make music with such fine people, and feel some love and support from folks that come out to see us. Well, I should get outta here before I get to mushy again. Love to all!!
