Almost a month?! How does that happen?! Well, it's like this .... Nah, forget the laundry lists of life. Let's get on to the music!
Last night, we opened the first night of Brent Naylor's Camel City Showcase with a rousing hour set. Thanks to the great crowd who came out and cheered us on! Knowing we had Robert Kirk out recording us added an excellent edge to the usual show excitement. Yeah, I know I flubbed a bit here and there, but it wouldn't be live music if you didn't, now would it? Word is that the rough mix sounds GREAT! I can't wait to hear it. WooHoo! As soon as we have some mixes Lee will let out, I'll post some MP3s on the site.
Last night, we shared the stage with the Joe Rathbone Band, Little Mascara and The Charms. Wow! A kickass night of music. Tonight's Showcase features Singers & Songwriters, and I recommend it highly. We have so many talented musicians in this area!
Well, I need to go have lunch with one of my delightful progeny. More soon!
